These compositions weave together celestial textures and grounding frequencies, creating an expansive sonic environment perfect for deep therapeutic work and contemplative moments.
"If I'm dreaming, I'm already sleeping. But if I'm dreaming of sleep, what exactly am I reaching for?" asks the project's anonymous creator. "This is the space ketamine opens up—something between awareness and surrender. That's where this music lives."
Dreaming of Sleep was formed when a collective of artists found themselves drawn to the unique perceptual spaces opened by therapeutic psychedelic experiences. What began as compositions for ketamine-assisted therapy sessions evolved into a full ambient electronic project.
Each member brings their specific approach to creating soundscapes that facilitate introspection, healing, and transformation – from harmonic theory to field recordings, from spatial reverb to analog synthesis. While our music was born in therapeutic settings, it now resonates with listeners seeking mindful moments in everyday life.
